looking back on these blogs i noticed i talked an awful lot about our new album and how its going to be out soon but in the blink of a third eye things changed (such as life). we have the album 99.9% done and we have 99.9% of the promo work figured out but the biggest problem we're facing now is, "how are we going to get it into the hands of a label thats going to push it further than the last one?" that seems to be a common question for an artist's second album. i look at it like this, we know what we are capable of and we know that we have a sound thats unlike anything ive ever heard but that in itself causes a problem for labels (IMO). this is the part of the journey when you stop for a second and reavaulate your next move. we've been conducting meetings to solve this problem and we think that the only option at this point is to keep moving forward. this "mountain" is HUGE and it takes the lives of people everyday. the thing that will seperate the weak from the strong is commitment and the ability to pick yourself up and keep moving on. we know that people are gonna come and go in our lives (especially in the art world) but as long as the foundation stays as one, theres no way we're giving up. with that being said we're already workin on new ideas for the 3rd LP. we might be moving in the non-traditional hip hop route (as far as the polotics are concerned) but thats how we roll and thats the almighty's plan for the GSE fam. so with that being said, if you're a fan of GS then just hold tight for the time being, we're still figuring out how to get to the next plateau.

PS- as soon as we get our paper right we'll be setting up a HUGE tour so be prepared; we might never come back! ;)
